Empowered by the emergence of novel information and communication technologies (ICTs) such as sensors high-performance digital systems, Europe has adapted its electricity distribution network into a modern infrastructure known smart grid (SG). The benefits this new include precise real-time capacity for measuring monitoring different energy-relevant parameters on various points remote operation optimization distribution. Furthermore, user profile is derived from infrastructure, prosumer (a that can produce consume energy to/from grid), who benefit features applying advanced analytics semantic in rich amount big data generated subsystems. However, novel, highly interconnected also presents some significant drawbacks, like those related to security (IS). We provide systematic literature survey ICT-empowered environments comprise SGs homes, application artificial intelligence (AI) with sensor fusion systems actuators, ensuring efficiency systems. we outline current challenges outlook field.
